Easter is fast approaching so we thought we would make some super easy Easter Eggs! We made these with dark chocolate so added some sprinkles for a little fun and a little extra sweetness!

This recipe makes approx 20 small easter eggs (halves) we used a silicon easter egg mould (pictured above) it’s freezer safe and can easily be found at this time of the year.

Ingredients

  • 200g chocolate (we used 70% Lindt Dark Chocolate)
  • Rainbow Sprinkles (optional)

Method

  1. Chop/ break the chocolate into small pieces.
  2. Half fill a small saucepan with water and place a heatproof bowl on top.
  3. Add the chocolate, put on to a low heat setting and stir from time to time until melted and smooth.
  4. Carefully spoon the chocolate into your chocolate moulds
  5. Add sprinkles (optional)
  6. Put in the freezer for 10- 15 minutes or until set.
