The Sacred Kingfisher has a stunning set of feathers and aside from the peculiarity of being named a Kingfisher and not really liking to dine on fish (??), is a rather lovely bird! Found locally in Geraldton and in many coastal locations around Australia, the Sacred Kingfisher likes its own company for most of the year except for, you know, when it wants to make little Kingfishers… x
